Celeb Style Envy: Reese Witherspoon

Posted on February 12 2015

Whether she is dressed for an awards ceremony or running errands, Reese Witherspoon always has a classic chic look that we absolutely adore. Just because she’s doing something mundane like shopping, Reese doesn’t default to yoga pants and a baggy top. Every girl needs a go-to casual look like this. That way when you’re running out the house with little time to get ready, you can ditch your baggy old sweatshirt and sweat pants for a great casual outfit like this.
As we all know, athleticwear inspired pieces are really in right now. Reese’s textured sweater is kind of a play off of an old school sweatshirt; this is a great way to dress up what is usually a distictly casual silhouette. In plus sizes, it’s key to find a sweater that has texture, but not does not add bulk. We love this version from Vince Camuto’s plus size line. It’s clean and relaxed looking, but sophisticated with the slightly sheer stripes.

Old Navy Distressed Jeans -- Espadrilles -- Sweater -- Ray-Ban Sunnies -- Bucket Bag -- Twelve North Necklace (available next week!)

A pair of distressed jeans can give your outfit some edge and prevent your look from being overly preppy. This plus size pair from Old Navy is a great option. Their lighter wash and cuff at the ankle make them perfect for spring.

When it comes to accessories, bucket bags are the latest trend. Bucket bags are the perfect size to hold all of your things and are convenient to throw over your shoulder while you're on the go. Reese paired her look with sneakers, but we would prefer it with espadrilles, which are a great alternative to sneakers. They are comfortable, but will give you a more put together look. This gold leather pair from Sam Edelman is perfect for setting off gold accessories. Finish off this look with a pair of classic black Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses and a gold necklace. You are set to fashionably take off on the busy day you have ahead of you!
