Five Best Spring 2015 Trends for Plus Sizes
Posted on March 06 2015
We want to share our favorite spring 2015 trends and our plus size interpretations of them. There are other trends we love, like the urban safari look and gingham, but these are our top 5. Shirt dresses, yellow, blue and white combo, obi belts and one shoulder silhouettes!
Shirt dresses are the perfect combination of chic and casual and epitomize effortless style. This comfortable and flattering style can be dressed up with a pair of pumps, or can be worn casually with a cute pair of flats. We love this plus size burnt orange shirt dress by Michael Kors and this linen plus size dress by Lucky.

Bold and bright shades of yellow make us think of the sunshine and warmer weather. Don't be afraid to incorporate this color into your wardrobe this season. When picking a yellow think about your skin tone, between brighter, golden yellows and pastel yellow there is a shade of yellow for every skin tone.

This geometric-printed yellow plus size skirt from Twelve North is a great way to incorporate yellow. If you're ready to go all the way with yellow, try this swing dress. Lastly, this cotton deep yellow skirt is a great breezy way to follow this trend.
We love that obi belts are in for the spring season because they are the perfect accessory for plus size figures. A plain black obi belt can be worn with many different outfits, but will always flatter your curves by accentuating and drawing attention to your waist. Our favorite way to wear an obi belt is over a sundress, it's a great mix of styles and materials!
Blue and White Combo
Another color combination that is a favorite for this season is blue and white. From a classic navy and white piece, to a vibrant organic blue, there is bound to be a shade of blue that catches your eye. Blue and white is apparently the new black and white! We love how fresh it looks! Twelve North has some great blue and white pieces that would be perfect to add to your wardrobe this season.
One Shoulder Cuts
One shoulder cuts are our favorite silhouette. We love the grecian look and nothing says grecian more than baring one shoulder! We are so excited this look is in and will certainly be wearing a lot of it. It's sophisticated, exotic and sexy all while being a bit modest.
