Top 5 Summer Accessory Must Haves

Posted on June 11 2015

Accessories Buyer Alexandra Dortch is back with her rundown of 2015's must have summer accessories. See her uber-stylish picks below:

  1. Wide Brim Hat.    Channel your inner Bridget Bardot with a large brimmed hat to block your gorgeous face from the sun’s damaging rays. These large hats are no longer for your grandma, the bigger the better! I love this Eric Javits pick with built in SPF!
  1. Statement Earrings.    With the warm summer days here, it might be easier to wear your hair up in a top knot to fight frizz and avoid heat styling. Add to your sleek hairdo with some statement earrings to really make heads turn. Bauble Bar is my go-to for on trend jewelry at great prices. This pair is my current favorite.
  1. Mirrored Sunglasses.    These cool shades can make you look uber stylish at the beach or during your commute to work. Round, aviator and cat eye frames with these lenses are all over the streets of NYC and can really up your accessory game. Shop pictured pairs here.
  1. Slip On Shoes.    Finally sneakers are in fashion for women! We can walk around all day in these all comfortable and stylish shoes that can really change the dynamic of a look. Get a couple different pairs of these Via Spiga's that come in a variety of colors and patterns (leopard is my favorite, but pick a pattern and a solid to maximize the trend.)

  1. Stylish, Functional Luggage.    Going away for the summer at some point is a must. Even for a short weekend getaway you will need durable and stylish luggage to get you there. Try a bright color to really make it easy to spot on the luggage carousel at the airport! We love this hot pink carry-on available on sale now!
